Review
Aplus FLV to MPEG Converter is a handy tool to convert flash (FLV) video and other popular formats to MPEG.
This application supports the following formats as input: FLV, AVI, DIVX, XVID, RM, RMVB, MOV, WMV, WMA, MP3, MP4, VOB, SWF.
It allows you to watch a preview of the video, and to copy whole movie or a clip by marking the start and end points of the source. Batch processing is also supported (multiple simultaneous videos with different formats can be converted to MPEG), and the possibility to shutdown your computer after the job is done (especially useful when long conversions are performed).
This program is easy to use. You just have to add source videos, mark start and end positions, select the type of output MPEG (Video CD, Super Video CD, DVD, PAL/NTSC) and start conversion. Its interface is very intuitive, it could use some work when talking about graphics but it is good enough and presents all the basics in a single screen.
For those who want to test this software, a free trial is available for download at the developer's site.
